Dear Stanford Civil & Environmental Engineering Alumni, Friends, and Community,
We hope you’ve been having a great spring! It’s been an exciting and busy quarter in the CEE department. Perhaps most importantly, we’re thrilled to welcome our newest faculty member, Assistant Professor Yaochun Yu, to campus. Prof. Yu’s research focuses on functional environmental microbiology and environmental analytical chemistry. He is teaching courses on environmental biotechnology and environmental

We are also happy to share that we are wrapping up our first year of offering a new track within our Sustainable Design and Construction master’s degree program. This track is focused on sustainable real estate development and is being led by Prof. Rishee Jain.
