Over the course of the day-long event, alumni will have the opportunity to learn about the research/scholarship from faculty speakers who teach at UT and were educated at Stanford. There will be plenty of time to get to know each other over lunch, breaks, and a post-event social hour.
 
 
 
The Stanford International Alumni Weekend returns this year and will include alumni networking sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and faculty talks on technology and expert communication. Join fellow alumni from across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, for networking, learning, and more!

Stanford: Democracy and Disagreement

Come back to class this spring as Debra Satz, Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences, and Paul Brest, Interim Dean and Professor Emeritus at Stanford Law School, host faculty members on opposing sides of a given issue for discussions that model civil disagreement. Recordings will be available.



Chicago: Capitalism, Corporations, Democracy and the Rule of Law

Professor Anat Admati explores what’s wrong with the banking system and possible solutions. We’ll look at the power of corporations and wealthy individuals to distort rules and political discourse, exploiting and promoting public confusion on the issues which undermine our democracy.



GSB Jewish Alumni Chapter

Several GSB Jewish alumni have graciously agreed to host Shabbat Dinners in various cities (Aspen, Bay Area, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Washington DC). These dinners are an excellent opportunity to meet Jewish alumni and have a wonderful meal. Open to all GSB alumni.
