Join a rare opportunity to be back in the classroom with faculty, students, and cutting-edge research. Professors Kate Casey, Anat Admati, and Saumitra Jha, invite us to virtually join their session exploring changes in the global political landscape and pushbacks against populism. The new Insights & Bites series, sponsored by the Business, Government & Society Initiative (BGS), is generously opening up a livestream for alumni to join a program normally only open to students getting a behind-the-scenes look at the latest research at the heart of the GSB.

Professor Andy Hall will speak on AI, Deepfakes, Chatbots, and the Information Environment during the election; Professor Sarah Soule will speak on Embracing Failure; Professor David Brady will give his much-beloved take on the State of the U.S. Elections and Where We are Now; and Professor Alyce Adams will speak on Healthcare Innovation, Policy, and Equity.

The Bankers’ New Clothes: What’s Wrong With Banking and What to Do About It, originally published in 2013 — four years after the financial collapse devastated the economy — offered a scathing critique on how our banking system remained resistant to reform and riddled with risk. With a new expanded edition released in early 2024, Professor Anat Admati delves into what has changed in the banking industry and what has stubbornly remained the same.
