April included National Volunteer Week, which is a meaningful reminder of something that defines the Stanford GSB experience long after graduation: a deep commitment to giving back.
Our alumni community thrives because of the doers, the builders, the connectors. From class secretaries who keep connections alive, to chapter leaders who bring alumni together across the globe, to mentors who invest in the next generation, and the many volunteers who support programs across the GSB and the broader Stanford University ecosystem — each role plays a vital part in sustaining a vibrant, engaged, and generous community. Whether your contributions are visible or behind the scenes, occasional or ongoing, they matter deeply and shape the experience of our GSB community. Thank you!
This spirit of service was especially evident at the Stanford Associates Awards Ceremony on April 18, where several GSB alumni were recognized for their extraordinary volunteer leadership.
We are proud to celebrate Natalie Kim Fair, MBA ’06, recipient of the Governors’ Award, honoring exemplary and long-standing service to the university.
We also recognize the recipients of the Award of Merit for their meaningful and impactful contributions: Federico Antoni, MBA ’04; T.J. Duane, MBA ’14; Courtney McColgan, MBA ’12; and the GSB Alumni Catalyst Program Leads: Kim Chan, MBA ’97; Alan Chiu, MSM ’11; Michelle Landrey Cline, MBA ’98; Anna Neverova, MSM ’18; Valerie Shen, MBA ’19, MS ’20; and David Yoon, MBA ’23. Amy Zhao, MBA ’23, was also recognized for her leadership within the Stanford Alumni in Climate Tech Community.
Their service reflects the very best of the GSB — leadership grounded in purpose.
